To provide consultancy services for the feasibility and business plan preparation of regulatory inputs, and implementation, of a pilot mortgage scheme under the Nigeria Housing Finance Program (NHFP). Conducted research into the form and level of coverage of various product options, leading to the design of a mortgage guarantee program. Presented an assessment and recommendations report. Presented a feasibility assessment of establishing such a product in Nigeria. Provided technical assistance and training to the Central Bank staff prior to the launch of the pilot scheme. The main work site was in Abuja with visits to Lagos for stakeholder meetings.
