To assist the National Bank of Angola (i.e. the Central Bank) in the recovery of the accounting system, which had suffered from neglect, poor practices and untrained personnel. Organized and supervized teams of bank staff to carry out a review of the various accounts, and of the background support to entries, and restored internal controls. Reconciled accounts and established effective balances in readiness for external audit.
