To conduct a review and evaluation of a large project proposed by CIDA to strengthen the caisses populaires in five regional networks. Evaluated the proposed project participatively with representatives of the Centre d'innovation financière based in Burkina Faso. Recommended refinements be made to the Terms of Reference to ensure that it was appropriately matched to the absorptive capacity of the regional federations. The proposed project was in the order of $100 Million CAD.
It was to cover computerisation, HR management, training, organisational structure changes, and strategy.
